Getting to know the Father through Jesus.

Luke 12:22-34.

When Jesus came to this  earth, one of the divine purposes of his ministry was to make the father known to humanity.

Knowing The Father’s Good Pleasure.

The Gospels must be the core, the source through which the Holy Spirit will build the image of the Father’s heart and care for the lives of believers.

“Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Sell what you have and give alms; provide yourselves money bags which do not grow old, a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches nor moth destroys.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

As believers, we are to gain the understanding that once a believer commits their life unto the Father, there is a change that takes place.

Although we live in this world, we are to gain the understanding that we are, in fact, citizens of the kingdom, the domain of the Father, while living on this earth.

The Need To Be Kingdom-Minded.

“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind.

Jesus declared do not have a mind that wavers, but have a state of mind being fixed in the trust of being in the care of the Father.

For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the Kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you.

The Provision Of The Father.

Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?

Our Father is the God of the much more.

I am reminded of a Word of the Lord in which the Spirit of the Lord declared: Almighty God holds back nothing for those who are his. He gives out of his abundance without any diminishing of his supply.

The Futility Of Worry.

Luke 12:22-34.

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing.

Many believers do not understand that, in reality, to worry is to question the faithfulness of the Father worry is a by product of unbelief; it is to question the ability of the Father to undertake in one’s life and circumstance.

Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn, and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you, by worrying, can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?

If Almighty God can give you life for eternity, why question his ability to undertake in your life on this earth! .
