Through The Ministry Of Jesus.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19.
And it came to pass when Jesus had made an end of commanding His twelve disciples; He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities. Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples unto Jesus. And they said unto Jesus,” are you He that should come”, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which you hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hears, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he; whosoever shall not be offended in He. Matthew 11vs 1-6
Then the disciples of John reported to him concerning all these things. Read More... “The Living Proof Of The Anointing.”
Entrance Into The Kingdom Is Narrow.
Enter you in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:13-14.
Strive To Enter.
And Jesus went through the cities and villages, teaching and journeying toward Jerusalem. Then one said to Him, “Lord, are there few who are saved?” And Jesus said to them, “Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open for us,’ and He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know you, where you are from,’ then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets.’ But He will say, ‘I tell you I do not know you, where you are from. Depart from Me, all you workers of iniquity.’ Read More... “The Narrow Gate And The Narrow Path Leads To Eternal Life.”
Do Not Pray As The Heathens.
And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that men may see them. Verily I say unto you; They have their reward.
The Need Of A Prayer Closet.
But when you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you openly.
The Father Know Your Need.
And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not you, therefore, like unto them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, even before you ask Him.
The Protocol Of Prayer
After this manner, therefore, pray you Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. The Commission Of The Twelve.
Effectual Ministry.
These twelve Jesus sent forth and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans do not enter. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give. Matthew 10:5-8.
Trust In The Father’s Provision.
Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. And into whatsoever city or town you shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till you leave. And when you come into a house, salute it. And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment than for that city. Read More... “The Kingdom And Discipleship.”
