Jesus Was Anointed To Preach The Gospel.
And Jesus came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up: and, as His custom was, Jesus went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Jesus Came To Do The Father’s Will.
All that the Father gives to Me shall come to Me, and they that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of the Father Who sent Me.
The Will Of The Father Revealed .
And this is the Father’s will Who has sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I should lose nothing but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of the Father Who has sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and shall believes on Him may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Jesus Came As The Bread Of Life.
The Jews then murmured at Jesus, because He said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that He is saying, I came down from heaven? Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. No man can come to Me, except the Father Who has sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. Jesus, The King And His Kingdom.
Jesus answered, My Kingdom is not of this world: if My Kingdom were of this world, then would My servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is My Kingdom not from hence. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth hears My voice. John 18:36-37.
