Is It The Will Of God For All To Be Saved?

For God So Loved The World

John 3:14-17

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Jesus Came To Save The Lost.

Matthew 18:11-14.

For the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost.  How think you? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not leave the ninety and nine, and goes into the mountains, and seeks that which is gone astray?

And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.  Even so, it is not the will of your Father, which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

Luke 19:1-10.

And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.  Read More... “Is It The Will Of God For All To Be Saved?”

Doing Nothing Of Ourselves

Jesus Is Our Example.

John 5:18-19

Therefore, the Jews sought all the more to kill Jesus because He not only broke the Sabbath but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

John 5:26-30.

As the Father has life in Himself, He has granted the Son to have life in Himself and has given Him authority to execute judgment also because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. Read More... “Doing Nothing Of Ourselves”

Is Forgiveness Important In A Believer’s Life?

The Greatest Act Of Forgiveness.

Luke 23:32-34.

There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death. And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”

If You Forgive, You Shall Be Forgiven.

Matthew 6:9-15

In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts As we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. .

Forgiveness As A Lifestyle.

And when Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And Jesus touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. When the even was come, they brought unto Jesus many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

Mark 1 : 29-31.

Now as soon as they had come out of the synagogue, they entered the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and they told  Jesus about her at once. So Jesus came and took her by the hand and lifted her up, and immediately the fever left her. And she served them.
