What Jesus Said About The Father Giving The Holy Spirit

John 15v26

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or, if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!” Luke 11 v 9-13.

If you Me, keep My commandments.  And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever;  Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it cannot see Him, Neither do they know Him: but you know Him; for He dwells with you, and shall be in you.  I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:15-18.

Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Words: and My Father will love him, and We will come unto him, and make Our abode with him.  Read More... “What Jesus Said About The Father Giving The Holy Spirit”

What Jesus Said About Faith.

Mark 4v40 41.

And Jesus entered into a ship, passed over, and came into His own city. And, behold, they brought to Jesus a man sick, a paralytic, lying on a bed: and Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the paralytic, Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven you. Matthew 9:1-2.

And, behold, a woman, who had been diseased with a blood issue for twelve years, came behind Jesus and touched the hem of His garment. For she said within herself, If I may but touch His garment, I shall be whole.  But Jesus turned about, and when He saw her, said, Daughter, be of good comfort; your faith has made you whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour. Matthew 9: 20-22.

When Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed Him, crying and saying, Son of David, have mercy on us. When He came into the house, the blind men came to Him, and Jesus said unto them, Do you believe that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yes, Lord. Then Jesus touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened, and Jesus sternly charged them, saying, See that no man knows it.  Read More... “What Jesus Said About Faith.”

What Jesus Said About The Believer Not Of The World.

John 17v16 17

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world; therefore, the world hates you. Remember, therefore the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept My saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for My Name’s sake, because they know not the Father that sent Me. John 15: 18-21

And now come I to You and these things I speak in the world, that they might have My joy fulfilled in themselves.  I have given them Your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world but that You should keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  Read More... “What Jesus Said About The Believer Not Of The World.”

What Jesus Said About The Peacemakers.

Matt 5 V 9

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matthew 5 vs 9-12.
