Jesus Is Our Example.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness comprehended it there was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through Him might believe. He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lights every man that cometh into the world. John 1:4-9.
“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”Luke 2:29-32.
And this is the condemnation that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil. For everyone that does evil hates the light, neither comes to light, lest his deeds should be reproved. John 3:19-20.
Then Jesus spoke again unto them, saying, “I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” Read More... “Let Your Light Shine.”
The Futility Of Worry.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn, and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds? And which of you, by worrying, can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?
The Provision Of The Father.
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which today is in the field and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith?
The Need To Be Kingdom Minded.
“And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. Read More... “Know The Father’s Good Pleasure.”
The Father Is Righteous.
“Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O Righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You, and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:24-26.
Jesus Ministered Through Righteousness.
Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?”But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfil all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly, a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Read More... “Kingdom Righteousness.”
Jesus, The Good Shepherd.
I am the Good Shepherd, the good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But he that is a hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees and the wolf catches them and scatters the sheep the hireling flees because he is a hireling, and does not care for the sheep. I am the Good Shepherd, and I know My sheep, and I am known of Mine. As the Father knows Me, even so, I know the Father: and I lay down My life for the sheep.
There Is Only One Shepherd And One Fold.
And other sheep I have, who are not of this fold: these also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. Therefore does My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life, that I might take it again. No man takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have the power to lay it down, and I have the power to take it again. This commandment have I received of My Father. John 10 : 11-18.
