What Jesus Said About Praying To The Father.

John 16v23

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not you, therefore, like unto them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, even before you ask Him. After this manner, therefore, pray you Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Matthew 6: 7-13

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of My Father, I have made known unto you.  You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.  Read More... “What Jesus Said About Praying To The Father.”

What Jesus Said About Mammon.

Luke 16v13

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:  But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:  For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.  The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, your whole body shall be full of light.  But if your eye be evil, your whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you be darkness, how great is that darkness!  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Matthew 6:19-24.

He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.  If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?  And if you have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?  Read More... “What Jesus Said About Mammon.”

What Jesus Said About Forgiveness .

Luke 23v34

After this manner therefore pray you: Our Father Who is in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your  Kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Your is the Kingdom, and the power, and the Glory, for ever. Amen. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your Heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:9-15.

And Jesus entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into His own city.  And, behold, they brought to Jesus a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes.  And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think you evil in your hearts?  For whether is easier, to say, your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and walk?  Read More... “What Jesus Said About Forgiveness .”

What Jesus Said About Treasure In Heaven?

Matt 19v21

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6: 19-21.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and in his joy, he went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. When he found one very precious pearl, he went away and sold all he had and bought it. Matthew 13:44-46.

And, behold, one came and said unto Jesus, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  And Jesus said unto him, Why do you call Me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you would enter into life, keep the commandments.  He said unto Jesus, Which? Jesus said, you shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, Honour your father and your mother: and, you shall love your  neighbour as  yourself.
