Jesus Glorified

John 12 : 27-33.

My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour? but for this cause, I came unto this hour. Father, glorify Your name. Then there came a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The people that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to Jesus. Jesus answered and said, This voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all unto Me. This, Jesus said, signifying what death He should die.

 John 17 : 1-5.

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You: As You have given Him to have power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. And this is life eternal, that they might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. Read More... “Jesus Glorified”

Knowing The Abundant Provision Of The Father

The Goodness Of The Father.

Luke 1:46-55.

And Mary said, My soul does magnify the Lord,  And my spirit has rejoiced in God my Saviour.  For He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden: behold, from henceforth, all generations shall call me blessed.  For He that is mighty has done to me great things, and Holy is His name.

And His mercy is on them that fear Him from generation to generation.  He has shown strength with His arm; He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.  He has put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

He has filled the hungry with good things and sent the rich empty away.  He has holpen His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy;  As He spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to His seed forever.

Our Father Knows Our Needs.

Matthew 6:5-8.

“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray, standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Believers Must Build On Jesus’s Word

Jesus’s Word Must Be Our Foundation.

Matthew 7 : 24 -27.

Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended,  the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; but it fell not: because it was founded upon a rock. But everyone that hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Believers Must Hear And Do The Word.

Luke 6 : 46-49.

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them; I will show you whom he is like  He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. Read More... “Believers Must Build On Jesus’s Word”

Disciples And Their Actions Towards Others

Be Peacemakers.

Matthew 5 : 9-12.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad; for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Seek Reconciliation.

Matthew 5 : 21-26.

You have heard that they said it of old time, you shall not kill, and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, you fool, shall be in danger of hellfire.

Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you; Leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Read More... “Disciples And Their Actions Towards Others”
