The Father And Jesus.

Jesus And The Father Are One.

But Jesus answered them, My Father works hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill Him, because He not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever He does, these also does the Son likewise. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that Himself does: and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son quickens whom He will. For the Father judges no man but has committed all judgement unto the Son: That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honours not the Son honours not the Father which hath sent Him. John 5;17-23

You judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, My judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father Who sent Me. Read More... “The Father And Jesus.”

The Essence Of Mercy.

Please note that the words Mercy and Compassion are one of the same in their meanings, what is said of one, can also refer to the other.

The Father Is Merciful.

And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise. “But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those, who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6 : 31-36.

Jesus Is Merciful.

And as Jesus passed went from there He saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and Jesus said unto him, Follow Me. Read More... “The Essence Of Mercy.”

The Concern Of The Father For The Poor.

Jesus Ministry To The Poor.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Luke 4:18-19.

Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, and they said unto Jesus, are You He that should come, or do we look for another?  Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which you do hear and see:  The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. Matthew 11:2-5.

And, behold, one came and said unto Jesus, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?  And Jesus said unto him, Why do you call Me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if you would enter into life, keep the commandments.  Read More... “The Concern Of The Father For The Poor.”

The Compassion Of Jesus.

And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when Jesus saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad, like sheep having no shepherd. Then Jesus said unto the disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray you, therefore, the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth labourers into His harvest. Matthew 9 : 35-38.

When Jesus heard of it, He departed by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed Him on foot out of the cities. And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and He healed their sick. And when it was evening, the disciples came to Jesus, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They do not have depart; you give them food to eat.

And they said unto Jesus, We have here only five loaves, and two fishes. Read More... “The Compassion Of Jesus.”
