Calling Sinners To Repentance.

Repentance From Sin Is Crucial For Salvation.

When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’ For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Matthew 9:12-13.

Faith Receives From The Father’s Provision.

So Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city. Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.”And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? Matthew 9:1-4.

Salvation Provides Forgiveness From Sin And Healing Of Body.

For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” And he arose and departed to his house. Letting Your Light Shine Before Men.

Jesus, The Light Of The World.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. John 8:12.

Believers In Christ Are To Be Lights In The World.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5: 14-16.

Believers Must Continue To Walk In The Light.

Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness does not know where he goes.  While you have light, believe in the light, that you may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide Himself from them. John 12:35-36.

Shining In The Kingdom Of God.

Jesus answered and said unto them, He that sows the good seed is the Son of Man;  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.   Read More... “Letting Your Light Shine Before Men.”

Effectual Discipleship.

The Essential Requirement Of Faith In God.

Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.”So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. Mark 11:20-22.

Believing In The Heart.

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:23-24.

The Importance Of Forgiveness.

“And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”.Mark 11:25-26.

The Protocol Of Prayer.

Therefore, pray you: Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Read More... “Effectual Discipleship.”

Disciples And The Taking Up Of The Cross.

Disciples Are Never Above Jesus.

The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his Lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his Master and the servant as his Lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of His household? Matthew 10 : 24-25

The Responsibility Of An Individual.

Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it.  For what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?  For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He shall reward every man. Matthew 16:24-27.

And when Jesus had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Mark 8:34
