And it came to pass, as Jesus went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched Him. And, behold, there was a certain man before Jesus who had dropsy. And Jesus answering spoke unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? And they held their peace. And Jesus took the man, and healed him, and let him go; And He answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fall into a pit, and would you not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? And they could not answer Him again to these things. Luke 14 : 1-6.
And when they came to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to Jesus, and said, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for often he falls into the fire, and often into the water And I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.
Then Jesus said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to Me. and Jesus rebuked the devil, and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee, where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had come out of Judea into Galilee, he went to Jesus and implored Him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.” The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!”
Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way. And as he was now going down, his servants met him and told him, saying, “Your son lives!” Then he inquired of them the hour when he got better. And they said to him, “Yesterday at the seventh hour, the fever left him.”So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said to him, “Your son lives.” And he himself believed, and his whole household. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them. And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan. Matthew 4:23-25.
And Jesus departed from there and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee, and He went up into a mountain and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto Jesus, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and they cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and He healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
