Jesus Heals The Impotent Man At The Pool Of Bethesda.( Article – MP3)

After this, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent people, there are those who were blind, the halt, the maimed and those who had withered limbs these were waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever were the first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there, who had suffered from an infirmity for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He said unto him, Will you be made whole? The impotent man answered Jesus, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: for while I am coming, another stepped down before me. Jesus said unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked. Jesus Heals A Man With Dropsy.( Article – MP3)

And it came to pass, as Jesus went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched Him. And, behold, there was a certain man before Jesus who had dropsy. And Jesus answering spoke unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? And they held their peace. And Jesus took the man, and healed him, and let him go; And He answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fall into a pit, and would you not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? And they could not answer Him again to these things. Luke 14 : 1-6.

This is really important, you have to know this:

  • The Pharisees watched Jesus closely, not to learn, but to accuse.

  • Yet before them stood a man in need—sick, swollen with dropsy, suffering in silence.

  • Jesus, knowing their thoughts, asked a piercing question: Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath? They said nothing. So He acted. He healed the man and then exposed their hypocrisy.

  • If they would rescue an animal on the sabbath, how much more should a man be delivered?

Jesus Delivers Young Boy With A Demon.( Article – MP3)

And when they came to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to Jesus, and said, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for often he falls into the fire, and often into the water And I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.

Then Jesus said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to Me. And Jesus rebuked the devil, and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting. Matthew 17 : 14-21.

And when Jesus came to the disciples, He saw a great multitude around them, and scribes disputing with them. Read More... “Jesus Delivers Young Boy With A Demon.( Article – MP3)”

Parable of the Rich Fool( Article – MP3)

And one of the company said unto Jesus, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And Jesus said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And Jesus said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things which he possesses.

And Jesus spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, you fool, this night thy soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided? So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:13-21.

This is really important, you have to know this:

  • Jesus warns with unmistakable clarity: the value of a man’s life is not measured by his possessions.
