Jesus In His Own Words

What Did Jesus Say About If?

Matthew 6:14-15

Jesus said: “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

(Matthew 16 v 24)

Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.

(Matthew 17 v 20)

And He said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible to you.

Matthew 18 v 15-17

If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector. What Did Jesus Say About Fruit?

(Matthew 7:17 -19)

Even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit ; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire.

(Matthew12:33)

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

(Matthew13:8)

But other fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

(Matthew 13:23)

But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

(Matthew13:26)

But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

(Matthew21:19)

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently, the fig tree withered away.

(Matthew21:34)

And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. Read More... “What Did Jesus Say About Fruit?”

What Did Jesus Say About The Sabbath?

Matthew 12 v 5

Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath and are blameless?

Matthew 12 v 8

For the Son of Man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Matthew 12 v 11-12

And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

Matthew 24 v 20

But pray you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Mark 2 v27-28

And Jesus said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of Man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Mark 3 v 4

And Jesus said unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

Luke 6 v 5

And Jesus said unto them, That the Son of Man is Lord also of the sabbath. Read More... “What Did Jesus Say About The Sabbath?”

What Did Jesus Say About His Second Coming?

Matthew 13 v 24-30

So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? From where then has it tares? He said unto them. An enemy has done this. The servants said unto him, Will you then that we go and gather them up? But he said, No; lest while you gather up the tares, you root up also the wheat with them.

Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into My barn.

Matthew 13 v 38-43

The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom, but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world, and the reapers are the angels.

As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be at the end of this world. The Son of Man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His Kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
