The Parable Of The Talents

“I wanted to tell you a story…” The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man going on a journey. He called his servants and entrusted his property to them. To one he gave five talents, to another two,
and to another one-each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.

The man who received five talents went at once and put his money to work-and gained five more.  The one with two talents also gained two more. But the man who had received one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money. After a long time, the master of those servants returned to settle accounts. The one who had received five talents brought the other five and said, “Master, you entrusted me with five talents. Look, I’ve gained five more.”

His master replied, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things;  I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.”The one with two talents came and said, “Master, you entrusted me with two talents. Look, I’ve gained two more.” His master said the same: “Well done, good and faithful servant! Read More... “Use Your Gifts Wisely ( Video )”

The Parable Of The Sheep And The Goats

“I wanted to tell you a story…”When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Then the King will say to those on His right, “Come, you who are blessed by My Father; take your inheritance, the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited Me in, I needed clothes and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you came to visit Me.” Then the righteous will answer Him, “Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?

When did we see You a stranger and invite You in, or needing clothes and clothe You? Read More... “The Kingdom Revealed Through Service ( Video )”

Eternity’s Choice Rich Man and Lazarus ( Video )

The Parable Of The Rich Man And Lazarus

“I wanted to tell you a story…”There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus,  covered with sores, who longed to eat the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. The time came when the beggar died, and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died-and was buried.

In hell, where he was in torment,  he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. He called out, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me! Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this flame.” But Abraham replied, “Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things. But now he is comforted here-and you are in agony.

And besides all this, a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.” Read More... “Eternity’s Choice Rich Man and Lazarus ( Video )”

The Parable Of The Two Builders (Wise and Foolish Men)

“I wanted to tell you a story…”Everyone who hears My words and does them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down. The floods rose. The wind blew and beat  Against that house- but it didn’t fall, because its foundation was on the rock. But everyone who hears My words and does not do them is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain came down.

The floods rose.  The wind blew and beat against that house- and it fell. And great was its fall. (This story is found in Matthew 7:24-27 and Luke 6:46-49.)

“Let Me explain what this story means…” Both men built a house. Both houses were hit by the storm. The only difference was the foundation. If you build your life on My words-and do what I say-
you’ll be unshakable when the storm hits. Not because storms won’t come, but because I’ll hold you through them. But if you only hear Me… and don’t obey… when the storm comes, your life will collapse.

The storm reveals what your foundation really is. So don’t just listen-live what I’ve taught you. Read More... “The Foundation of Obedience ( Video )”
