What Did I Say About Healing?

You want to know what I said about healing? Let Me remind you. In Matthew 9:12-13, I said: “They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” I came for the sick-those who knew they were broken. Healing is not just physical.

It begins in the soul. In Luke 4:18, I read from the prophet Isaiah and said: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me… He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives… to set at liberty them that are bruised.”This is why I came-to heal what the world cannot. The wounds no one sees, the pain that lives deep inside.

In Luke 5:24, I said: “That ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (He said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.” I healed his body-but first, I forgave his sins. Healing is always deeper than what’s seen.

In Matthew 9:22, I said to the woman who touched My garment: “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.” Her healing came through faith. She believed I could do what no one else could.

In Luke 17:19, I said to the one leper who returned to thank Me: “Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.” Ten were healed-but only one was made whole. Gratitude and faith go hand in hand.

In John 9:3-4, I said about the man born blind: “That the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of Him that sent Me, while it is day.” Some suffering exists so that the power of God can be seen. Healing is not just mercy-it is the work of the Father.

Why Do My Words Matter? Why Should You Listen to Me? Because My words are not My own. They are from the One who heals both body and soul.

In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me… gave Me a commandment… and I know that His commandment is life everlasting.” The words that bring healing-real healing-are eternal.

And in Matthew 24:35, I told you: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” Pain may come and go. Bodies may weaken. But My words-they never fade. And they bring life.

So if you’re still asking, “What did You say about healing?”  Here’s My answer: I came to heal the sick-and the brokenhearted. I forgive sins-and restore the soul. Your faith can make you whole.
Give thanks. Believe. Trust in Me. The healing I give is deeper than flesh. It is eternal.
