What Did I Say About Persecution and Suffering for My Name?

You want to know what I said about persecution? Let Me remind you. In John 15:18–19, I said: “If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own…”They rejected Me—so they’ll reject you. But you don’t belong to them. You belong to Me.

In Matthew 5:10–12, I said: “Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake… Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven…” If you suffer for doing right—you’re blessed. Heaven sees. And Heaven rewards.

In Luke 6:22–23, I said: “Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you… and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake… for in like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.” You’re not alone. You’re part of a long line of faithful ones. You’re in good company.

Why Do My Words Matter? Why Should You Listen to Me? In John 12:49–50, I said: “The Father… gave Me a commandment… and His commandment is life everlasting.”

And in Matthew 24:35, I said: “My words shall not pass away.”  So if you’re still asking, “What did You say about suffering for Your Name?” Here’s My answer:

– The world will hate you—because it hated Me. – You’re not of the world. – You are blessed when you suffer for righteousness. – Your reward is great in Heaven. This path is hard. But I walk it with you. And the Kingdom is on the other side.
