What Did I Say About Mercy?

You want to know what I said about mercy? Let Me remind you.

In Matthew 9:13, I said:
“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
I came for the broken, the sinful, the needy-not those who think they are already clean. Mercy is My mission.

In Luke 6:36, I said: “Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.”
You have received mercy-so you must show it. Mercy is not weakness; it is the heart of the Father.

In Matthew 5:7, I said: “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
If you withhold mercy, you will not receive it. But if you give it freely, you will be blessed.

In Luke 10:36-37, after telling the parable of the Good Samaritan, I asked: “Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?” And he said, ‘He that shewed mercy on him.’ Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.”
Mercy is not just a feeling-it’s action. Show compassion. Step in. Love like I do.

In Matthew 12:7, I said: “But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.”
Religious acts without mercy are empty. I desire compassion over performance. Always.

Why Do My Words Matter? Why Should You Listen to Me? Because My words reflect the Father’s heart-and His heart is full of mercy.

In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me… gave Me a commandment… and I know that His commandment is life everlasting.”
His command is life. And mercy brings life to those who receive it-and those who give it.

And in Matthew 24:35, I said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.”
The world may grow cold. But My mercy-and My command to show it-will never fade.

So if you’re still asking, “What did You say about mercy?”Here’s My answer:
I desire mercy-not just sacrifice.Be merciful, as your Father is merciful.

Blessed are the merciful-they will receive mercy. Show mercy like the Good Samaritan.Live it. Walk it. Reflect My heart.
