The Parable Of The Hidden Treasure

“I wanted to tell you a story…”The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again. And in his joy, he went and sold all that he had-so he could buy that field. (This story is found in Matthew 13:44.)

“Let Me explain what this story means…” The Kingdom is worth more than anything else. Sometimes, it’s hidden-buried beneath the ordinary. But once you see it for what it truly is… nothing else compares. The man in the story didn’t hesitate.

He gave up everything-because he knew what he had found was far greater. That’s the response I’m calling for. Not hesitation. Not delay. But joyful surrender. When you understand the value of the Kingdom, you won’t see sacrifice as loss-you’ll see it as gain.

“My parables matter because they reveal the Kingdom.” I didn’t speak these stories on My own.

In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak.”

This story came from the Father-to show you what the Kingdom is worth. It’s not just something to admire. It’s something to pursue.

And in Matthew 24:35, I said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” So hear this: The treasure is real. The field is right in front of you. And the joy of the Kingdom is greater than anything you’ll ever give up.
