What Did I Say About the Kingdom?

You want to know what I said about the Kingdom of God? Let Me remind you. In Matthew 4:17, I said: “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The Kingdom isn’t far away-it came with Me. And to enter it, you must turn from sin.

In Luke 17:20-21, I said: “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation… for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.” You won’t find it by looking outward-it begins inside. In hearts that are surrendered to Me.

In John 3:3, I said: “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Without new birth-spiritual rebirth-you cannot even see the Kingdom, let alone enter it.

In Matthew 18:3, I said: “Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Pride has no place in My Kingdom. You must come in with humility, like a child.

In Matthew 13:44, I said:  “The kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field… which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.”The Kingdom is worth everything. Once you see its value-you’ll give up anything to have it.

In Matthew 13:47-49, I said: “The kingdom of heaven is like unto a net… which gathered of every kind… and the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just.” All are gathered-but not all are kept. The Kingdom ends with judgment. Be ready.

Why Do My Words Matter? Why Should You Listen to Me?  ecause I am the King-and My words are the truth of the Father. In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me… gave Me a commandment…and I know that His commandment is life everlasting.”The Kingdom is everlasting life-and My words are the doorway in.

And in Matthew 24:35, I said:  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” Earthly kingdoms rise and fall. But Mine-and the words I spoke about it-will never pass away.

So if you’re still asking, “What did You say about the Kingdom?”
Here’s My answer: The Kingdom is near-repent. It begins inside you. You must be born again. Come like a child. Treasure it above all else. It gathers many-but only the righteous remain. The Kingdom is life everlasting-and I am its King.
