What Did I Say About Asking?

You want to know what I said about asking? Let Me remind you. In Matthew 7:7-8, I said: “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.” I made it simple: ask. Come to Me. Trust that I hear you. My Father is not far from you-He is listening.

In Luke 11:9-10, I said the same: “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth…” I repeated his truth because I wanted you to remember it: My Father gives to those who ask Him in faith.

In John 14:13-14, I promised: “And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in My name, I will do it.” When you ask in My name-believing, surrendered to the Father’s will-it brings glory to Him. I listen. I act, not for your glory, but for His.

In John 15:7, I said: “If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Your asking is tied to your abiding. Stay close to Me. Let My words live in your heart-and your prayers will bear fruit.

And in John 16:23-24, I said: “Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in My name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” Ask so that your joy may be full-not the kind of joy the world gives, but the joy that comes from being heard, loved, and cared for by the Father.

Why Do My Words Matter? Why Should You Listen to Me? Because I did not speak on My own. In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave me commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak… and I know that His commandment is life everlasting.”

Every word I’ve spoken came from the Father. These promises are not empty. They are eternal. And I told you in Matthew 24:35: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” The world will change. People will fail you. But My words never will. They are true forever.

So if you’re still asking, “What did You say about asking?”Here’s My answer: Ask-and it will be given. Seek-and you will find. Knock-and the door will be opened. Ask in My name-and it will be done. Abide in Me-and your prayers will bear fruit. Ask-so that your joy may be full.
