What Did I Say About the Heart?

You want to know what I said about the heart? Let Me remind you. In Matthew 5:8, I said:  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Purity doesn’t begin with your hands-it begins with your heart. A clean heart leads to clear vision of God.

In Matthew 6:21, I said: “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Whatever you value most-that’s where your heart lives. Choose carefully what you love.

In Matthew 12:34-35, I said:  Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.”Your words and actions start in your heart. What’s hidden inside will always come out.

In Matthew 15:18-19, I said: “Those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”It’s not what’s outside that makes you unclean-it’s what lives in your heart. That’s where sin begins.

In Luke 6:45, I said: “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good…  For of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” If you want to change your life-start with your heart. That’s where the overflow comes from.

Why Do My Words Matter? Why Should You Listen to Me? Because the Father sees the heart-and I speak what He has commanded Me to say. In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me… gave Me a commandment…and I know that His commandment is life everlasting.”A clean heart leads to life. My words aim at the heart-because that’s where eternity is decided.

And in Matthew 24:35, I said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” Trends will change. Opinions will shift. But the truth about your heart-and what I require-will never pass away.

So if you’re still asking, “What did You say about the heart?” Here’s My answer: Blessed are the pure in heart. Where your treasure is-there your heart will be. Your words reveal your heart.
Sin begins in the heart. The heart is the source of all fruit-good or evil.Let Me change your heart-and your life will follow.
