Then He said to them, \u201cMy soul is consumed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with Me.\u201dGoing a little farther, Jesus fell facedown and prayed, \u201cMy Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. <strong>Yet not as I will, but as You will.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. \u201cWere you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour?\u201d He asked Peter. \u201cWatch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.\u201d\u00a0A second time, Jesus went away and prayed, \u201c<strong>My Father, if this cup cannot pass unless I drink it, may Your will be done<\/strong>.\u201d And again Jesus returned and found them sleeping for their eyes were heavy.\u00a0So Jesus left them and went away once more and prayed a third time, saying the same thing. Then Jesus returned to the disciples and said, \u201cAre you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise, let us go! See, My betrayer is approaching!\u201d <strong>Matthew 26:36-46.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>But Jesus replied, \u201cThe hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life will lose it, but whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, My servant will be as well. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
