But go and learn what this means: \u2018I desire mercy and not sacrifice.\u2019 For I did not come to call the righteous, <strong>but sinners, to repentance.\u201d Matthew 9:12-13.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Faith Receives From The Father’s Provision.<\/h4>\n<p>So Jesus got into a boat, crossed over, and came to His own city. Then behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. <strong>When Jesus saw their faith,<\/strong> He said to the paralytic, \u201cSon, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.\u201dAnd at once some of the scribes said within themselves, \u201cThis Man blasphemes!\u201d But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, \u201cWhy do you think evil in your hearts?<strong> Matthew 9:1-4.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Salvation Provides Forgiveness From Sin And Healing Of Body.<\/h4>\n<p>For which is easier, to say, \u2018<strong>Your sins are forgiven you,\u2019 or to say, \u2018Arise and walk\u2019?<\/strong> But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins\u201d\u2014then He said to the paralytic, \u201cArise, take up your bed, and go to your house.\u201d And he arose and departed to his house. <strong>Matthew 9:5-7.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4>Healing From Sickness Brings God Glory.<\/h4>\n<p>Now when the multitudes saw it, <strong>they marvelled and glorified God,<\/strong> who had given such power to men. As Jesus passed on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, \u201cFollow Me.\u201d So he arose and followed Him.Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples. And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, \u201cWhy does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?\u201d <strong>Matthew 9:8-11.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Repentance From Sin Is Crucial For Salvation.
