{"id":5269,"date":"2024-12-12T14:51:10","date_gmt":"2024-12-12T14:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/disciplesofchrist.co.uk\/?p=5269"},"modified":"2024-12-25T17:29:15","modified_gmt":"2024-12-25T17:29:15","slug":"the-believer-and-the-fathers-will-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/disciplesofchrist.co.uk\/the-believer-and-the-fathers-will-2\/","title":{"rendered":"The Believer And The Father\u2019s Will."},"content":{"rendered":"<!--[if lt IE 9]><script>document.createElement('audio');<\/script><![endif]-->\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-5269-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/disciplesofchrist.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/The-Believer-And-The-Fathers-Will.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/disciplesofchrist.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/The-Believer-And-The-Fathers-Will.mp3\">https:\/\/disciplesofchrist.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/The-Believer-And-The-Fathers-Will.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p><strong>Jesus Came To Do Father\u2019s Will.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: whoever comes to Me shall never hunger; and he that believes on Me shall never thirst.\u00a0 But I said unto you, That you also have seen Me, and believe not.\u00a0 All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and they that comes to Me I will in no wise cast out.\u00a0 For I came down from heaven, not to do Mine own will, <strong>but the will of Him that sent Me.\u00a0 John 6:35-38.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Believing In Jesus Is The Father\u2019s Will.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And this is the Father’s will Who has sent Me, that of all He has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.\u00a0 And this is the will of the Father that sent Me, that <strong>every one who sees the Son, and believes on Him,<\/strong> may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. <strong>John 6:39-40.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jesus Acknowledges Those Who Will Believe In Him.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Then His brothers and His mother came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him. And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Jesus, \u201cLook, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.\u201d But Jesus answered them, saying, \u201cWho is My mother, or My brothers?\u201d\u00a0 and Jesus said, \u201cHere are My mother and My brothers! <strong>For whoever does God’s will are My brother, My sister and mother.\u201d Mark 3 : 30-35.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Father\u2019s Will Is To Be A Hearer And Doer Of His Word.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Then, His mother and brothers came to Him and could not approach Jesus because of the crowd. And it was told Jesus by some, who said, \u201cYour mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You.\u201d But Jesus answered and said to them, \u201cMy mother and My brothers are <strong>these who hear the word of God and do it.\u201d Luke 8 : 19-21.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Reward Given To Those That Do The Will Of God.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot everyone who says to Me, \u2018Lord, Lord,\u2019 shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but <strong>he who does the will of My Father in heaven<\/strong>. Many will say to Me in that day, \u2018Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?\u2019 And then I will declare to them, \u2018I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!\u2019 <strong>Matthew 7:21-23.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus Came To Do Father\u2019s Will.
