The Heart of the Father Revealed.
Jesus said: “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”Luke 12:32. The Father’s heart toward His children is filled with mercy, compassion, loving kindness, and tender care. He delights in supplying everything necessary for our lives and in leading us into the fullness of all that He has purposed for us.
For this reason Jesus declared: “Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.”Matthew 6:32. Believers must embrace the revelation that the Father’s provision through Jesus Christ extends far beyond our mere material necessities. His provision reaches into every area of our lives and is sufficient for every circumstance we may encounter.
It must become a personal reality in our lives that, through being in Jesus Christ, the Father has made abundant provision and is fully able to undertake for us in every need:
- Strength for our weakness.
- Peace for troubled hearts.
- Comfort in times of sorrow.
- Wisdom for every decision and pathway of our lives.
- Grace to continue when the way becomes difficult.
Jesus admonition has never changed:“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28. The resources of the Father are eternal and inexhaustible. There is no limitation in His ability to care for His children completely. His provision is not merely something to be known intellectually, but something to be trusted and experienced as a living reality through Jesus Christ.
Therefore, as believers, we are called to enlarge our faith and expectation toward the Father, trusting in His heart, His goodness, and His unfailing care. Our Heavenly Father is both willing and able to provide abundantly according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Therefore we must gain a personal revelation that:
- The Father knows what His children need.
- The Son has made the provision available.
- And the believer is called to trust Him completely.
Let the heart therefore rest in this wonderful truth: the Father has not left His children to walk alone.
In Christ, His grace is sufficient, His provision is abundant, and His loving care is without end.
