Where Self Dies, Christ Lives.
Jesus revealed this divine principle: “Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” (John 12:24)
Every believer needs to understand the principles and the working of the Kingdom of God, it is essential for our lives as we are citizens of this Kingdom, even though we live in this world. A number of years ago the Lord gave me this word of exhortation”The Kingdom of God is always entered through death before life, surrender before power, and humility before fruitfulness.”
Herein are some sombering thoughts that every believer must understand in our lives the challenge is unmistakable. Every believer must choose whether to preserve our self-life or totally surrender itself. This is a vital truth that we must give of ourselves to apply to our everyday existence while in this world: As long as our confidence remains in our flesh, the work of the Holy Spirit will be resisted.
But when our self-reliance dies, the life of Jesus Christ is given freedom to be manifested through the believer for the glory of the Father.The measure of the Holy Spirit’s working is not determined by natural ability, but by the depth of surrender.
