Becoming The Children Of The Father.

John 1:6-13.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through Him might believe.  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.  That was the true Light, which lights every man that comes into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.  He came unto His own, and His own did not receive Him.  But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

To Believe In The Father Requires Believing In Jesus.

John 14:1-4.

Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.  And whither I go you know, and the way you know.

The Necessity To Believe And Receive The Word Of God.

John 20:30-31.

And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book:  But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through His name.

Shall Have Everlasting Life.

John 3:14-18.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up:  That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.  He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
