Disciples And Their Cross.

Matt 16 V 24 25

He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that love son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he that takes not his cross, and follows after Me, is not worthy of Me. He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for My sake shall find it. Matthew 10:37-39.

Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.  For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for My sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man shall come in the glory of His Father with His angels; and then He shall reward every man according to his works.  Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in His Kingdom. Matthew 16:24-28.

And when Jesus was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to Him, and asked Jesus, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, Why do you call Me good? there is none good but one, that is, God. You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour your father and mother. And he answered and said unto Jesus, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing you  lack: go your way, sell whatsoever you have and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow Me. And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions. Mark 10:17-22.
