Jesus declared in Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.

To be pure in heart regarding salvation means to have a heart cleansed from sin, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Purity of heart begins when you repent—turning away from sin—and believing in Jesus Christ, whose blood washes you clean, and brings you the Father’s forgiveness.

A pure heart in salvation is a heart made new—one that seeks after the Father through being in Christ, loving  Him without pretence, and longing to walk in His ways.

This is important for you to know: it is not something you can achieve through your own moral effort or your outward religion.

Without this purity, no one will see the Lord. But with it, given through Jesus Christ, you enter into fellowship with the Father both now and for eternity.
