The Parable Of The Hidden Treasure

“I wanted to tell you a story…”The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again. And in his joy, he went and sold all that he had-so he could buy that field. (This story is found in Matthew 13:44.)

“Let Me explain what this story means…” The Kingdom is worth more than anything else. Sometimes, it’s hidden-buried beneath the ordinary. But once you see it for what it truly is… nothing else compares. The man in the story didn’t hesitate.

He gave up everything-because he knew what he had found was far greater. That’s the response I’m calling for. Not hesitation. Not delay. But joyful surrender. When you understand the value of the Kingdom, you won’t see sacrifice as loss-you’ll see it as gain.

“My parables matter because they reveal the Kingdom.” I didn’t speak these stories on My own.

In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak.” Read More... “The Joy of Hidden Treasure ( Video )”

The Parable Of The Persistent Widow And The Unjust Judge

“I wanted to tell you a story…”There was a judge in a certain town who neither feared God nor cared about people. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, “Grant me justice against my adversary!”For a while, he refused. But finally he said to himself, “Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering  me,I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t wear me out with her continual coming!”

And I said: Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay long to help them? I tell you-He will see that they get justice, and quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? (This story is found in Luke 18:1-8.)

“Let Me explain what this story means…”The widow didn’t give up. She kept asking. She kept believing justice would come. And if even an unjust judge gave in- how much more will your Father in heaven respond to those who cry out to Him? Read More... “Persistent Faith in Prayer ( Video )”

The Parable Of The Good Samaritan

I wanted to tell you a story.. A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away leaving him half dead. A Priest happened to be going down the same road and when he saw the man he passed by on the other side, so too a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him passed by on the other side.

But a certain Samaritan, as he travelled, came to where the man was and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own donkey, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.  the next day, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, Look after him ; he said and when I return I will reimburse you for any extra expence, you may have.  Which of these three do you think was a neighbour to the man that fell into the hands of the robbers? The expert in the Law replied the one who had mercy upon him. Shine Your Light Boldly ( Video )

The Parable Of The Lamp And The Measure

“I wanted to tell you a story…”No one lights a lamp and then covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they set it on a stand-so that those who come in can see the light. For there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be brought into the open. So take heed how you hear. With the measure you use, it will be measured back to you-
and even more will be given to you. For whoever has, more will be given. But whoever does not have, even what they think they have will be taken away. (This story is found in Matthew 5:14-16, Mark 4:21-25, and Luke 8:16-18.)

“Let Me explain what this story means…”If I’ve given you My light-don’t hide it.  You were not meant to blend in. You were meant to shine. Your life is a lamp-Meant to bring light to others. So put it where it can be seen.

Live boldly. Speak truth. Reflect Me. And be careful how you listen to My words- because what you do with them matters. The more you receive and act on what I’ve said, the more you’ll be given. Read More... “Shine Your Light Boldly ( Video )”
