Forgiveness And The Father.

Matthew 18:28-35.

“But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii; and he laid hands on him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.’

And he would not, but went and threw him into prison till he should pay the debt. So when his fellow servants saw what had been done, they were very grieved, and came and told their master all that had been done. Then his master, after he had called him, said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.

Should you not also have had compassion on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ And his master was angry, and delivered him to the torturers until he should pay all that was due to him. “So My heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

Matthew 6;14-15

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mark 11; 25-26

And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father, who is in heaven, forgive your trespasses.

Luke 23;24.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they parted His raiment and cast lots.

The Father And His Glory.

Matthew 16;27

For the Son of Man shall come in the Glory of His Father with His angels, and then He shall reward every man according to his works.

Mark 8;38

Whosoever, therefore, shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of Man be ashamed, when He comes in the Glory of His Father with the holy angels.

John 12v26-28

If any man serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serves Me, him will My Father honour. Now is My soul troubled, and what shall I say? Father, save Me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify Your name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.

John 17; 1,5

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You. And now, O Father, glorify You  Me with Your own self with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

John 17; 24-25

Father, I will that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which You have given Me: for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world has not known You, but I have known You, and these have known that You have sent Me.
