“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”  Matthew 1:21.

Jesus—Yeshua—means “the LORD is salvation.” It was not chosen by men, nor shaped by tradition, but given by heaven to reveal both His identity and His purpose. The angel declared to Joseph, “You shall call His name Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).

In that name is contained the full intent of the Father toward humanity. Jesus did not come merely to offer advice, nor did  He come to promote moral reform or religious instruction; He came to bring salvation and redemption to fallen humanity.

The name Jesus proclaims that deliverance is not found in systems, works, or words alone, but in a Person sent from the Father. As Jesus Himself testified, “The Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost(Luke 19:10).

Thus, every time His name is spoken, heaven’s purpose is declared: the LORD saves. It is a name that calls sinners to repentance, invites the weary into rest, and announces that Almighty God has acted decisively in His Son to redeem, restore, and make whole.

Jesus Christ came to rescue sinners from the power and penalty of sin. Every hidden thought, every selfish motive, every act of rebellion that was in humanity, Jesus Christ came to forgive it, cleanse it, and make us new.

Jesus is not merely the hope of Israel; He is the hope of every nation. This is so very important to understand that no one is beyond His reach, and no nation is beyond His call. From the beginning, the Father declared through prophecy:

“Behold My Servant, whom I have chosen; My Beloved, in whom My soul is well pleased: I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He shall show judgment to the Gentiles… till He sends forth judgment unto victory. And in His name shall the Gentiles trust.” — Matthew 12:18–21

In His name shall the nations trust. This is the divine purpose of Almighty God that through the name of Jesus Christ, men and women from every tribe, tongue, and people might find salvation.

Jesus alone brings light into the world’s darkness. As Simeon declared when he saw the Christ child: “My eyes have seen Your salvation, which You have prepared before the face of all people   a light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.”  Luke 2:30–32

The light of Christ still shines today. It pierces through the shadows of sin and despair, revealing the way to the Father. But that light demands a response.

The Need to Believe and Receive Jesus.

“He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” John 1:11–12

The Creator walked among His creation, and the world He made did not recognise Him. But those who did receive Him who believed in His name were transformed, born of the Father and made His children.

Faith in Jesus is not a mere idea or emotion. It is a personal trust that He alone can save. The Samaritan woman believed, and her testimony led many to seek Him. But when they heard Jesus for themselves, they declared: “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.”John 4:42

Every believer must come to that same conclusion: not by second-hand faith, but through having a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world, must become the Saviour of your soul.

Receiving Jesus Is Receiving the Father.

“Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me.” Luke 9:48

To receive Jesus is to open one’s heart to the very presence of the Father Himself. This is no mere act of religion, nor the result of human effort or ritual. Religion may imitate devotion, and works may attempt to earn favour, but neither can bring the living God into the heart of man. The traditions of men, however sincere, cannot produce divine life.

There is no other name by which this miracle of divine indwelling can occur. No prophet, no priest, no philosophy can bridge the infinite divide between God and man. Only Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Son sent from the Father, reveals and imparts the Father’s love. In Him alone the fullness of God is known, and through Him alone the Father makes His home within the believing heart.

Receiving Eternal Life Through Jesus.

“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”John 3:36

“He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life.”John 5:24

The message of Jesus Christ is not a soft word; it is a call to decision. It confronts every heart with eternal realities—life or death, light or darkness, Christ or condemnation.

Jesus Himself framed His message in these unmistakable terms: “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him(John 3:36).

There is no neutral position, no safe middle ground where one may stand undecided. The coming of the Son of God divided humanity by truth. “This is the condemnation,” Jesus declared, “that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19).

To encounter Christ is to be brought to a crossroads where response is unavoidable. . The Son of God has spoken with divine authority, and the Father has entrusted all things into His hand .

Heaven has placed the final word concerning life, judgment, and salvation in Him alone. Therefore, His gospel demands more than admiration—it requires surrender. To receive Him is to pass from death into life; to refuse Him is to remain under condemnation. The weight of eternity rests upon how one responds to the Son.

Every human soul must face this truth. Eternal life is not earned it is received through believing in the Son. The question is not whether Jesus is the Saviour of the world; He is. The question is whether He is your Saviour.

A Final Appeal.

Jesus Christ is the Saviour of all nations, yet He does not save nations as a collective mass. He saves individual souls, one by one. He saves the guilty and the broken, the ashamed and the proud, the lost and the wandering. His salvation is deeply personal, reaching each heart where it truly stands.

He saves those who turn to Him in faith and repentance, responding to His call with humility and trust.  But today, His voice still calls: “Come unto Me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

There is no other Saviour.

There is no other way. There is no other name.

The Son of God has come, and the time of decision is now.

Believe in His name. Receive His salvation.  Pass from death to life through Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world.
