The Parable Of The Persistent Widow And The Unjust Judge

“I wanted to tell you a story…”There was a judge in a certain town who neither feared God nor cared about people. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea,
“Grant me justice against my adversary!”For a while, he refused. But finally he said to himself, “Even though I don’t fear God or care what people think, yet because this widow keeps bothering me,
I will see that she gets justice-so that she won’t wear me out with her continual coming!”

And I said: Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay long to help them? I tell you-He will see that they get justice, and quickly. But when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth? (This story is found in Luke 18:1-8.)

“Let Me explain what this story means…”The widow didn’t give up. She kept asking. She kept believing justice would come. And if even an unjust judge gave in- how much more will your Father in heaven respond to those who cry out to Him?

This is not just about prayer. It’s about faithful prayer. Relentless trust. Unshakable hope. I’m asking: When I return-will I find that kind of faith in you? Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop believing. Your Father hears you-and He will act.

My parables matter because they reveal the Kingdom.”I didn’t speak these stories on My own.

In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment,  what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak.”

This story came from the Father-to remind you that persistence in prayer is not wasted. It’s honored. And in Matthew 24:35, I said: “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” So hold on. Keep asking. And let Me find faith in you when I come.
