And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto Jesus, Master, behold, the fig tree You cursed is withered away.  And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Mark 11:22-24.

Faith is outside of the sense realm of natural man; there are five aspects that natural man moves in, they are; 1. Sight. 2. Smell. 3. Taste. 4. Touch. 5. Hearing.

Faith originates with the Father, which is a grace from the Father and is released into the lives of those who have believed in and received Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Faith, in its simplest meaning, is a living positive belief and trust in the integrity of the Father’s Word given to the race of humanity through Jesus Christ.

Faith, as a writer of the New Testament, stated that Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the Word of God. The Word, breathed by the life of the Father through Jesus Christ has in its DNA the vast potential for the receiving of everything that pertains to life, being wrought in the hearts of those who will believe in Jesus Christ, taking Him at His Word, not requiring any physical evidence to substantiate its credibility.

Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.” So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.” And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them.

Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”John 20:24-29.

Thomas said, “Except I shall see… I will not believe”His words echo a struggle familiar to many of the Lord’s people. Across generations, countless believers have wrestled with the desire to see something outward before fully resting their faith in what the Lord has spoken. It is not rebellion—it is the human tendency to lean on what is visible rather than trust the unseen Word of God.

Jesus did not condemn Thomas; instead, He graciously revealed Himself and said, “Be not faithless, but believing” . His response shows His heart toward all who struggle: not accusation, but invitation—an invitation to move from sight-dependent faith into confidence in His Word.

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17 :20.

Faith has an origin. The Father. Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter, remembering, said to Him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which You cursed has withered away.” So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. Mark 11 :22.

Faith has a source. Word of God. Faith is believing and acting on the integrity of the Father; as the word is the mind of the Father made known, we must apply our lives to His word. Jesus answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. .Matthew 4 : 4

Faith has the greatest example. Jesus. And He that sent Me is with Me: the Father has not left Me alone; for I always do those things that please Him. John 8 :29

Throughout the entire earthly walk of Jesus, He had the approval of the Father, every word spoken and every work that was wrought was the unveiling of the will of the Father.

Faith is taking the Father at His word, laying hold and living it out by obedience. This is how Jesus gave of Himself to the Father, and this is the reason why Jesus could boldly claim that He always did those things that were pleasing to the Father.

Faith In the Life Of A Believer. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17 : 20.

Hope is the future; Faith brings the working of the Father into the present tense. Faith is a spiritual force. It is not of the head but comes from the spirit of man regenerated by the Spirit of God.

Potential of mustard seed. Jesus spoke of the Kingdom of God being like a mustard seed.  Another parable put Jesus forth unto them, saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof. Matthew 13 : 31-32.

The mustard seed, although very tiny when put into its right environment, can grow into a tree; a believer’s faith, therefore, has the same potential if it is applied to the Word of God; Jesus said that even as a tiny seed there is no limit to what faith can accomplish.

Even the smallest measure of true faith carries limitless potential because its power lies not in the believer, but in the Father who cannot lie. Faith exercised in the integrity of the Word of Jesus has the capabilities to:

Brings the Father’s reality into the present
Releases divine authority against impossible situations,

Speaks to mountains and watches them move,

Refuses to bow to circumstances,

Stands firm without visible evidence,

And transforms the life of anyone who will yield to it.

Faith is not a doctrine to study—it is the divine force by which the believer lives, moves, prays, speaks, overcomes, and walks in victory. It is time to return to the simplicity and power of Jesus’ words:

Exhortation: Return to the Life of Faith

Believer, hear this truth: Jesus never called His people to live by sight, by feelings, or by natural reasoning. He called them to live by faith—faith in the Father who cannot lie, faith in the Word that cannot fail, faith in the promises that cannot be broken.

The mountains that stand before you were never meant to be admired, feared, or tolerated.  They were meant to be spoken to.
They were meant to move under the authority of a believer who trusts the Father’s Word above every voice of doubt.

Do not wait to see before you believe.
Do not demand signs before you obey.
Do not measure God’s power by your circumstances.

The Father is faithful.
His Word is sure.
His promises stand unshaken.

“Faith can grow in My life as a believer, and I can grow in faith
