John chapter 15, verse 16
Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.
John chapter 16, verses 23 through 24
And in that day you shall ask Me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
John chapter 16, verses 26 through 27
At that day you shall ask in My name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father, Himself loves you, because you have loved Me and have believed that I came from God
John chapter 20, verse 31
But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through His name.
