What Jesus Said About Praying To The Father.

John 16v23

And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not you, therefore, like unto them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, even before you ask Him. After this manner, therefore, pray you Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in the earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Yours is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Matthew 6: 7-13

Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of My Father, I have made known unto you.  You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to you.  These things I command you, that you love one another. John 15:15-17.

And in that day you shall ask Me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall ask the Father in My name, He will give it to you.  Up to now, you have asked nothing in My name: ask, and you shall receive, that your joy may be full.  These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time comes when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day you shall ask in My name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:  For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world and go to the Father. John 16:23-28.

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify you:  As You have given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Hm.  And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.  I have glorified You on the earth: I have finished the work which You gave Me to do.  And now, O Father, glorify Me with Your own self with the glory which I had with You before the world was. John 17:1-5.
