Jesus’s Word Must Be Our Foundation.

Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, who built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended,  the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; but it fell not: because it was founded upon a rock. But everyone that hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Matthew 7 : 24 -27.

Believers Must Hear And Do The Word.

“But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them; I will show you whom he is like  He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently, and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.” Luke 6 : 46-49.

This is really important, you need to know this.

  • Jesus made it clear—His Word must be the foundation of our lives. Not inspiration. Not information.

  • The difference between a wise man and a fool is not knowledge, but obedience. Both heard His words. Only one acted on them.

  • The storms will come. The winds will blow. Floods will rise. Only one house will standthe one built on the rock.

  • If He is Lord, then His Word must govern our decisions, our conduct, our priorities, our lives. Otherwise, the collapse will be great not just in this life, but in the judgment to come.

  • So dig deep. Obey every word. Build your life not on culture, not on comfort, not on convenience but on Christ. He alone is the Rock.
