The Priceless Pearl of the Kingdom ( Video )

The Parable Of The Pearl Of Great Price

“I wanted to tell you a story…”The Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls. When he found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it. (This story is found in Matthew 13:45-46.) “Let Me explain what this story means…” This merchant wasn’t careless he was looking. Searching. He knew what he was after. And when he finally found that one priceless pearl, he didn’t hesitate. He sold everything- just to have it.

That pearl is the Kingdom. It’s more valuable than anything else you’ve ever known. Nothing you own, no comfort, no reputation, no possession can compare to its worth. I’m not asking you to give  Up everything for something uncertain- I’m showing you the one thing that’s worth giving everything for. “My parables matter because they reveal the Kingdom.”

I didn’t speak these stories on My own. In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I  should speak. And I know that His commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto Me, so I speak.” Read More... “The Priceless Pearl of the Kingdom ( Video )”

The Parable Of The Hidden Treasure And The Pearl

“I wanted to tell you a story…”The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and in his joy went and sold all he had to buy that field. Again, the  Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one pearl of great price, he went away, sold everything he had-and bought it. (These stories are found in Matthew  13:44-46.)

“Let Me explain what these stories mean…” The Kingdom is not something you stumble across lightly-it’s the greatest treasure you’ll ever find. And once you truly see its worth, you won’t hesitate. You’ll give up everything to make it yours. Some of you may stumble upon it unexpectedly-like the man in the field. Others search for it like the merchant-longing for something real. But however  you find it-don’t miss it. The Kingdom costs you everything.

But in return… you gain everything. You won’t regret what you give up-when you realize what I’ve given you.”My parables matter because they reveal the Kingdom.”I didn’t speak these stories on My own.

In John 12:49-50, I said: “For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. Read More... “The Treasure of the Kingdom ( Video )”

The Parable of the Sower Explained ( Video )

The Parable Of The Sower

“I wanted to tell you a story…”A sower went out to sow his seed. As he scattered it, some fell along the path. It was trampled on, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky ground, and When it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it-and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It grew up, yielded a crop, and produced-some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears to hear-let him hear.

(This story is found in Matthew 13:3-9, Mark 4:3-9, and Luke 8:5-8.) Let Me explain what this story means…” The seed is the Word of God. And your heart is the soil. Some people hear the word- ut it’s snatched away before it can take root. Some receive it with joy-but they fall away when testing comes. Some hear it-but life’s worries, riches, and pleasures choke it out. But the good soil?
That’s the heart that hears My word, holds on to it, and bears fruit with patience.

So ask yourself: What kind of soil am I? I’m sowing the seed. Read More... “The Parable of the Sower Explained ( Video )”

The Humble Heart’s Prayer ( Video )

The Parable Of The Pharisee And The Tax Collector

“I wanted to tell you a story…” Two men went up to the temple to pray- one was a Pharisee, and the other was a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: “God, I thank You that I am  not like other people-robbers, evildoers, adulterers- or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.” But the tax collector stood at a distance. He wouldn’t even lift  his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his chest and said, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner.

” I tell you the truth: This man-the tax collector-went home justified before God, not the Pharisee. For all who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

(This story is found in Luke 18:9-14.) “Let Me explain what this story means…”The Kingdom doesn’t belong to the proud. It belongs to the humble. You may look righteous on the outside- but if  your heart is full of pride, your prayers fall flat. But when you come to Me lowly, broken, and honest… when you admit your need for mercy… that is the prayer the Father hears. Read More... “The Humble Heart’s Prayer ( Video )”
