And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed after Him, crying and saying, You  Son of David, have mercy on us. And when Jesus entered into the house, the blind men came to Him: and Jesus said unto them, do you believe that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yes, Lord. Then Jesus touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith, be it unto you. And their eyes were opened, and Jesus charged them, saying, See that no man know it. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad His fame in all that country. Matthew 9 : 27-31.

This is really important, you have to know this:

  • This account reveals that Jesus responds not to appearances, status, or need alone—but to faith.

  • Jesus said, “According to your faith be it unto you,” making it clear: faith is not just a condition for miracles—it is the very channel through which His power flows.

  • The blind men pursued Him with persistent cries for mercy, and when tested, they confessed their belief in His power. Jesus healed them, not by ritual or spectacle, but with a simple touch and a word grounded in their faith.

  • This Jesus still lives. He still wills. He still heals.  Bring your need. Bow at His feet. And believe.  Because when Jesus is present, no disease, no torment, no affliction can remain.

Jesus still asks the same question today: “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” For those who answer “Yes, Lord,” the impossible becomes possible, not through striving, but through trusting in Him alone.
