Centurion’s Servant Healed By Jesus.

And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto Him a centurion, beseeching Him,  And said, Lord, my servant lies at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus said unto him, I will come and heal him.

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

When Jesus heard it, He marvelled, and said to them that followed, truly I say unto you, I have not found so great a faith, no, not in Israel. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness:  where there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go your way; and as you have believed, so be it done unto you. Read More... “Centurion’s Servant Healed By Jesus.”

Good Soil Produces Good Fruit.

Jesus Was Fruitful.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.  He that loves his life shall lose it, and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.  If any man serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any man serves Me, him will My Father honour. John 12:24-26.

Good Trees Bring Forth Good Fruit.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but are ravening wolves inwardly.  You shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles? Every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree produces evil fruit.  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.  Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.  Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them. Matthew 7:16-20

Hearing And Understanding The Word Brings Forth Fruit.

Hear you therefore the parable of the sower.  When anyone hears the Word of the Kingdom and does not understand it, the wicked one catches away from what was sown in his heart. Read More... “Good Soil Produces Good Fruit.”

Jesus Heals The Impotent Man At The Pool Of Bethesda.

After this, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent people, there are those who were blind, the halt, the maimed and those who had withered limbs these were waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever were the first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

And a certain man was there, who had suffered from an infirmity for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, He said unto him, Will you be made whole? The impotent man answered Jesus, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: for while I am coming, another stepped down before me. Jesus said unto him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked. Read More... “Jesus Heals The Impotent Man At The Pool Of Bethesda.”

Jesus Heals a Woman on the Sabbath.

While Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath, behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bowed together, and she could in no wise lift herself up. And when Jesus saw her, He called her unto Himself, and said unto her, Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.

And Jesus laid His hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, but not on the sabbath day.

The Lord then answered him and said, you hypocrite, do not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall and lead him away to watering? And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom satan had bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when Jesus had said these things, all of His adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.  Read More... “Jesus Heals a Woman on the Sabbath.”
