No Deficiency With The Father Nor The Son
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”(Luke 1:37). One of the great revelations that Jesus Christ brought to mankind is that there is no lack, insufficiency, or deficiency in the Father. Earthly circumstances do not limit the Father, nor is His ability to provide diminished by the needs of those who come to Him.
“All things are delivered unto me of my Father.”(Matthew 11:27) Jesus continually revealed the unlimited resources of His Father and demonstrated that heaven never lacks what is necessary to accomplish the Father’s will. The Son Himself lived in complete dependence upon the Father and testified that all things had been entrusted into His hands.“
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son.”(John 3:16). Through Jesus Christ, the Father revealed a love that could not be measured and a generosity that could not be exhausted. The giving of His only begotten Son stands as the greatest evidence that the Father’s heart is not withholding but continually reaching toward mankind in mercy and grace.
“For your Father knoweth what things ye require, before ye ask him.”(Matthew 6:8) The Father whom Jesus revealed remains unchanged. He knows every need before it is spoken and cares for His people with perfect knowledge and unwavering faithfulness.
“Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?”Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.” (Luke 12:6-7). For those who abide in Christ, there is continual access to the fullness that resides in Him. Through Christ comes grace for weakness, wisdom for uncertainty, strength for service, peace for troubled hearts, and perseverance for every trial.
“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you.” (John 14:27). This truth challenges every believer to reject fear, anxiety, self-reliance, and unbelief. If the Father has withheld nothing in giving His Son, why should there be doubt concerning His faithfulness?
“Take therefore no thought for the morrow.” Jesus repeatedly directed His followers away from anxious living and toward confident trust in the Father’s care.
Jesus gave this assurance: “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” The believer’s confidence is not found in earthly security, personal strength, or favourable circumstances, but in the unchanging character of the Father revealed through His Son.
The Father remains all-sufficient, His grace remains abundant, and His provision remains unfailing. Therefore, let every believer cease looking to the limitations of the natural realm and fix their eyes upon the Father revealed in Jesus Christ. Those who abide in Christ will discover that the Father’s supply never runs dry, His mercy never fails, and His sustaining hand never departs from those who continue steadfastly in faith.
